Even though my training specified to women, I have had a lot of fun mixing and matching pieces for my husband in his wardrobe. Recently he was telling me that he is always hearing about adding a "pop of color" to your outfit. He felt that it was something that only women can do. Most men stick to more neutral palettes. Anytime you add a pop of color to an outfit, not only are you creating more visual interest but suddenly your outfit has a focal point. And you are now appearing much more put together and even more credible. Here are pictures for fall 2009 collections that prove .... yes, men can do it too.
Some men are comfortable with brighter colors in their wardrobe, and because of this, adding pops of color becomes a second nature.

But for the more reserved...

Men can easily add color to a neutral outfit by wearing it in a hat, jacket, tie or even sweater vest. All five of these photos are fabulous and the tailoring is flawless.
